2023 Jan 20 - 2 New Planner Features
The ability to create a new version of your Skill profile from scratch and make it the current version without having to edit a previous version
The ability to return to a previous (older) version of your Skill Profile, and make it the current version
The following 2 new User Planner features have been released:
The ability to create a new version of your Skill profile from scratch and make it the current version without having to edit a previous version
Why may you want to do this?
You have too many changes to make, and you don’t wish to have to edit and/or delete all the previously selected skills
You are not happy with the selections you made during your surveys, and wish to start again with a blank slate
The ability to return to a previous (older) version of your Skill Profile, and make it the current version
Why may you want to do this?
You are unhappy with recent changes that you made, and would like to go back to a version prior to the changes rather than re-edit the current version
 Instructions
Both of these features are available from the Skills Profile Planner tab
To Create a new version of your Skill profile from scratch:
Use the new Create New Version button:
It will open a blank Skill profile in edit mode, showing the full SFIA Framework
You can then Edit the individual Generic Attributes and Professional skills to form a suitable Skill Profile that represents you competencies
There are some rules to ensure your Profile follows some basic best practice guidelines:
You must select a Level Of Responsibility (LoR) for each of the 5 Generic Attributes
You must select at least 1 Professional skill

To return to a previous (older) version of your Skill Profile, and make it the current version
Select the version of your Skill Profile you wish to return back to e.g.:
A new button Make Latest will now appear (It only appears if you select a version prior to the current version):
Select the Make Latest button
You now have the option to Confirm you wish to continue by selecting OK
This will make a copy of that version to a version number = Current Latest + 1
And that will now be your current version
Or you can Cancel if you do NOT wish to proceed
