3.2 Create a new version (from scratch)

Create a new Version

You have the ability to create a new Version of your (Self Assessed) Profile from scratch starting with a blank Profile

1. Select the Create New Version button

   Open

   

2. This will provide you with completely blank Profile of the complete SFIA framework

3. We suggest you start by editing each of the Generic Attributes, selecting the appropriate Level Of Responsibility (LoR) for each one.

   • Note: It is mandatory to have selected an LoR for each Generic Attribute and at least 1 Engineering skill to allow you to Save the new Profile

4. Now select (using edit) at least one Professional Skill/Level to add to your Profile

5. Continue editing the Professional skills/levels until you have the set of skills/levels you require

6. Use the Save button to save your new Profile to a new latest Version number (Current Version + 1) e.g.

   Open

   

   • Note: The Save button will only become active if you have selected an LoR from each Generic Attribute and at least 1 Professional Skill/Level

7. You can now Edit your new Profile as per a standard edit to continue to update and maintain it
