2023 June 21 - 2 New Features

1. Major changes to the Self Registration Feature.

   • Providing NEW functionality for this feature to be utilized for Employees, having them Self-Register in the system, automatically be assigned for Self-Assessment and automatically sent the Email invitation. This can be used, where appropriate, to simplify on-boarding Employees into the system and reduce Administration overheads.

     • To facilitate the Employee self registration, the Manage Features/Settings now includes:

       • The ability to select between registering Candidates or Employees

       • The ability to restrict which Email domains can be used self registration

       • The ability to adapt and self-manage the list of Reasons for registration

     • Documented in the Admin Guide here: Self Registration feature

2. A new Admin feature, (requested by SkillsTX Partners and Clients), to provide greater access to more of the User parameters listed in certain Admin pages that include User information tables.

   • Previously only a limited set of User parameter columns were available. This prevented the ability, (for example), for the tables to be sorted based on certain columns such as the “Other” parameter, which is used extensively by some partners and clients.

     • A new Columns button will now appear on the appropriate pages:

       Open

       

     • Selecting this will display a larger set of available column headings. e.g.

       Open

       

     • Column headings highlighted in Green are those selected, and Blue those currently not displayed

     • You are able to now select exactly which of these columns you wish to have displayed in the table, by selecting those required

     • Select the Columns button again to remove the Headings selection

     • The Admin pages changed are:

       • Manage Users

       • Assign Participants

       • Track Participant Progress

     • Importantly, these setting will be remembered for your future Admin Login access
