Manage Relationships
This task is used to configure the Organizational Structure relationships. Assigning Line Manager & Team leader relationships.
Note: The Search functionality is based on the persons Name, NOT the email address
Mode Switching
You are able to switch the focus Mode for viewing and managing the relationships using 2 different Modes:
Employee focus (as shown above)
In the above Employee Alan O’Malley has been selected, and the Leadership Name list shows that Sophia Lawrence is the Line Manager (Relationship Type) for Alan.
The Select from list is showing the list of people who currently have no relationship with Alan, but able to be selected and Assigned As (if required) either as:
Team Leader
Line Manager
Mentor
Leadership focus (as shown below)
In the above Alan is now selected as the Leader, and the Employee Name list shows the list of people have been assigned (related) to Alan. Alan is the Line manager for Linnie, Betty and Admin Demo.
The Select from list is showing the list of people who currently have no relationship with Alan, but able to be selected and Assigned To (if required) either as:

Line Manager
Mentor

Team Leader | Assigning someone as a Team Leader to a set of people, will allow that person to have access to:

Line Manager | The main difference between a Line Manager and a Team Leader from a system perspective is the ability for a Line Manager to make changes to a persons Action Plans. This based on an assumption that a Line Manager may have budgetary (financial) responsibilities, and therefore may need to veto or assign/approve development actions based on financial restraints. Assigning someone as a Line Manager to a set of people, will allow that person to have access to:

Mentor | Mentor is a special relationship. It can be established as an outcome of the Mentor/Mentee processes, or assigned directly from here. Mentors allow that person to have access to:
