17. Manage Requirement Families
Manage Requirement Families
This feature provides the ability to group sets of Requirements (Jobs) into Job Families.
The grouping of Requirements (Jobs) into Families is of most value when used in the Analytics
Creating a Requirement Family
Select the + Add New button
Type a name for the new Family
Press Save to save the new Family
Adding Requirements (Jobs) to a Family
Select the Family in the Requirements Families window
Select the Requirements you wish to add to the selected Family from the Select Requirement window
Use the Search function to filter the names if needed
Select multiple Requirements at once if convenient by holding the CTRL key while selecting
Use the Add Entries button to add the Requirements to the Family
The new Requirement will appear in the Requirement Entry window and be removed from the Select Requirement window
Removing a Requirement from a Family
Select the Family in the Requirements Families window
Select the Requirement you wish to Remove in the Requirement Entry window
Use the Search function to filter the names if needed
Select multiple Requirements at once if convenient by holding the CTRL key while selecting
Use the Delete Entries button to remove the selected Requirements
The Requirement will be removed from the Requirement Entry window and be returned to the Select Requirement window
Editing a Requirement Family
This can used to change the Family Name
Use the Edit Icon for the Family in the Requirements Families window
Change the Name as required in the pop-up
Press Save to save the new Family Name
Or use Cancel to exit the Edit function
Delete a Family
Use the Delete Icon for the Family in the Requirements Families window
Use OK in the resultant check pop-up window to Delete the Family
Or use Cancel to exit the Delete function
The Family will be removed from the Requirements Families window
The Requirements that were attached will return to the Select Requirement window
