4. Analytics

Opens the PowerBi (.pbix) file and displays the SkillsTX provided Analytics pages using PowerBI. The following displays the Summary Page:

There are a comprehensive list of Analytics pages made available to exploit your data that show at the bottom of the page. For example:

Exporting Analytics Data

Many of the pages contain tables of data that are able to be exported into Excel format and used offline to:

• Refine & reformat the data and make it suitable for your own requirements

• Combine to build alternative analytics solutions

• etc.

They use standard PowerBi formats to export the data:

example:

1. Click on the table (usually the top Right hand corner to show the options: e.g.

2. Hovering over the 3 dots (…) shows More options

3. Click o the More Options dots will provide a list of options:

4. Click on Export data

5. Select Data with current layout option (recommended)

6. Use the Export button to export the table to an Excel formatted file to your std Downloads folder e.g.

7. It’s recommended you Rename the exported file as needed, as if you continue to do more exports some of them have very generic names such as “Data”.

8. You can then edit. combine, manipulate the various data exports to produce your own set of analytics outcomes for searches, presentations etc.
