Favicon Design Tips

If you do not already have an organizational Favicon.

  1. File formats: We accommodate both .png and .ico file formats

  2. Keep It Simple

    • A favicon is very small (usually 16x16 or 32x32 pixels), so avoid complex designs.

    • Use a single letter, icon, or simple shape that represents your brand.

  3. Use High Contrast

    • Ensure the colors in your favicon contrast well so details remain visible at small sizes.

  4. Brand Consistency

    • Incorporate elements from your logo, such as colors, shapes, or initials.

    • Maintain a consistent look with the rest of your branding.

  5. Square Format

    • Favicons need to fit in a square format, so adapt your design accordingly.

  6. Scalability

    • Create your favicon as a vector or high-resolution file, so you can scale it for different devices (e.g., 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64).
