3.3 Editing you Profile
Editing Your Profile
Select the Edit Profile button and the following buttons will be displayed:
SFIA8 Generic Attributes:
SFIA9 Generic Attributes, Business Skills & Behavioural Factors:
Professional Skills:
Your Profile will open in Detail mode, showing an edit Icon each Generic Attribute or Professional Skill
To change Generic Attributes and/or The Business Skills/Behavioural Factors select LoR Cell (i.e. 1-7) associated with the Attribute or Factor:
Note1: Hovering over the Edit Icon will display the following instruction:
Note2: The Edit Icon will change to an Orange colour to indicate you have changed the selection for that Attribute or Factor.
Note3: Depending on the way your organization has configured them:
Some of the standard Attributes or Factors may NOT appear in your Profile, because your organization has chosen NOT to make use of them and have Hidden them from view.
Some (or all) of the standard Attributes or Factors may be configured as Optional. This means that you are not required to select them, and you can de-select any previously selected LoRs for them by clicking on the already selected LoR cell.
Repeat steps 3 for each Attribute or factor you wish to change
To change Professional Skills (standard method) select the edit icon for each one you wish to change in turn
For each level of that skill you wish to include, select the appropriate skill competency for that level. e.g. None/Knowledge/Proficient/Competent
Press Save Changes button to save all the changes for the changed skill
Repeat steps 5-7 for each Skill you wish to change
Above your Profile will be a message indicating how many Attributes/Skills have been changed & the Save button will become active
Press the Save button to save all the changes and create a new version of your profile
Your new profile version will be reflected in the Version selection e.g.

Editing Your Profile when Adding Evidence is an enforced option for Competence selections
Some organizations choose to utilize the feature that enforces Evidence to be uploaded for any Skill levels selected as Competent as part of the Edit Profile process for Professional Skills.
To change Professional Skills (with the enforced Evidence upload method) select the edit icon for each one you wish to change in turn:
For each level of that skill you wish to include, select the appropriate skill competency for that level. e.g. None/Knowledge/Proficient/Competent
Should you select Competent for any level, the Add Evidence button will become active as per above.
Once you have made all your selections for that Skill use the Add Evidence button to enter the Add Evidence Dialogue.
Follow the standard Add Evidence dialogue to create the Evidence instance for that skill.
Note1: The Skill/levels will automatically be pre-selected.

Press Save Changes button (which will only become active once an Evidence instance has been created), to save all the changes for the changed skill

Press the Save button to save all the changes and create a new version of your profile
Note: Any Evidence instances will only be created after the above Save of the profile has been enacted.

Should you wish to associate additional Skill/Levels in Evidence instances created as per the “enforced” feature, then you will need to Edit the Evidence instance once it has been saved using the Edit/Delete Evidence functionality: Edit / Delete Evidence
