Export Profile

This feature is only available if the Administrator of your SkillsTX instance, has provided the ability for you to Export all your data in a format suitable for importing into another SkillsTX instance.

The Export Profile button will ONLY be visible, if Admin have made it available, AND you have selected the latest (current) version of your Profile.

This export is different to the Download Personal Data functionality available under Account & Settings. This exports a file only suitable for Importing into another SkillsTX instance.

You cannot Export old versions of your Profile, only the current one.

  1. use the Export Profile button

    1. Select OK to continue with the Export

      1. or Cancel to abandon the Export

  2. Follow your standard processes for downloaded files

 

  • The Exported file will have a .json file extension

  • It will contain all your data including;

    • All Person Info (including Email address, which is considered the Key field)

    • Self-Assessed Profile

    • Assigned Current/Future Jobs

    • Endorsed Profile (If it exists)

    • Messages re Approvals and Endorsements

    • Action Plans (if they exist)

    • Evidence including files attached (if they exist)

  • You can view the contents of the file by opening it in a suitable application such as Notebook.

  • This file will be suitable for importing into another SkillsTX instance by the Administrator of that system.

    • The Administrator may need to adjust the file to comply with their system, such as change the Email Addresses.
