Adding a Sense Of Urgency to Survey completions
Getting people to complete self-assessment surveys in a timely fashion can be frustrating. here are a few basic tricks to help the process.
Step-by-step guide
New SkillsTX Platform and UI:
Under Manage Features and Settings:
Ensure that the Number of Frequency Reminders is set appropriately for your requirements.
Check the Reminder Frequency in Days setting for emails to ensure they are appropriate for your requirements.
If people are not completing surveys and ignoring Reminders, then it may be worthwhile Exporting (Using the Export Link) the survey tracking data from the Track Participant Progress task to get an understanding of the scope of the issue, then contact the people not completing their surveys personally, or have their managers either chase them up, or get an understanding on why they have chosen not to complete their surveys, independently . It may be due to a lack of adequate communication as to why the skills profiles are important to an organization, the fact they get to own their own data and how they can exploit their skills profiles themselves, and what the organization intends to do with the information. Alternatively some people just do not like doing surveys. Their are alternatives to answering all the SFIA Category surveys by using the skipping functionality, then using the Planner to establish a skills profile, which may be more acceptable to them.
