2.8.1 Licence Calculator and Ordering

Step-by-step guide

If the Type & Currency shown, are not applicable, change as required
Input the number of licenses you wish to Add in Add Licenses
- Press the Calculate button adjacent to Add Licenses
Review the new totals costs etc..
Change the Expected Future value to reflect your expectations if you wish to carry out more modelling
- Press the Calculate button adjacent to Expected Future
If you are wishing to place an order for license renewal or uplift ensure you have the correct values set
- Press the relevant Calculate button to ensure values set correctly

You can Place an order as per below

Parameter	Description and usage
Customer	The Workspace Customer
Workspace	Workspace name
Current Licences Held	Number of Current Licences purchased
Type	Select from: Define Assess (To be removed in the near future)
Currency	Select currency type
Add Licences	Input additional licences required
Uplift to renewal (Pro-rata)	Cost of the extra Licences from now until the renewal date
Est. new renewal cost	Estimated cost at renewal time for the new Total Licences value
Total Licences	New Total licenses following calculation
Expected future (within 3 months)	Input number of expected licenses in order to model expectations of future new licenses, and see the effect it will have on the Price Band and where possible savings may be made with improved planning Note: It will initially automatically reflect Current Licenses + Add Licenses values
Price Band	1 - 199 Licenses 200 - 499 Licenses 500 - 999 Licenses 1000 - 4999 Licenses 5000+ Licenses Will be re-calculated based on the new Total Licenses
Price per license	New price per license based on calculations. (Based on Type, Currency and Price Band)

Without making any changes for additional licences or modelling the only Place Order availability, will be for Renewal Only

Once you have made calculation changes and used Calculate to ensure the final totals reflect your requirement,

you can place an order using any three of the options now available

Uplift/New Only	Will initiate a request for the additional Licences only until the end of your current renewal period
Uplift and Renewal	Will initiate a request for the additional Licences + the renewal of current licences for another period
Renewal Only	Will initiate a request for renewal of your current licence Totals for another Renewal Period
