2.1.2 Adding a new Workspace

If you have a requirement to partition your data into separate Workspaces, then you will need to create additional Workspaces.

Partitioning your data into separate workspaces will mean you will be unable to cross match information between workspaces using Analytics. So it is advised you ONLY partition your data if you have a genuine requirement to quarantine the data for a specific need.

Adding a new Talent Workspace

  1. If you require the Workspace to belong to a different Organisation/Division and Workgroup instance, then you will need to set those up first under the Organisations/Divisions tab from the Home Page. See setting up a new Org/Div/Wrkgrp

  2. If you are creating a new Workspace for a current Organisation/Division and Workgroup instance then

    1. Select the SFIA Version you wish the Workgroup to be aligned with from the dropdown list

    2. Select the Organisation/Division/WGroup instance required from the dropdown list

    3. Provide a brief workspace description for the Workspace. Note: This should be unique enough to allow you to differentiate between different Workspaces

    4. Press the Add Workspace button

    5. Once in the new Workspace you will then need to complete the Workspace Configuration using Configure Workspace
