  • The following changes have been released since the last New features update:


The ability for Users to download all their information to an Excel Workbook is now available to everyone regardless:

  • 🆕 Previously this was ONLY available if the Can users opt to be forgotten? setting (GDPR) was set to Yes.


The Assign Requirements table is now able to be sorted on all columns (except the Action column)

  • 🆕 This was requested specifically by a Customer


The Version number of a persons Endorsed Profile is no longer displayed in the Users Planner Profile page

  • 🆕 This was requested specifically by a Partner

  • However anyone configured as an Admin to carry out Endorsements will be able to see the Endorsed profile version numbers.

    • Therefore, If they are also set up as a User, then they will see their own Endorsed Profile version number. This is expected to be a rare occurrence, as Endorsers, are generally external specialist consultants.


Self Registration now includes Self Registration Confirmation Wording text that is able to be edited and maintained via Admin

  • 🆕 This was requested specifically by a Customer

  • The Manage Features/Settings Self Registration Wording now includes an extra edit block for making changes to the Self Registration Confirmation Wording.

    • Previously this was an automated text message the wording of which was not necessary suitable for all Customers.

Extra automated emails for Skill Assessors (SFIA Credentials)

  • 🆕 This was requested specifically by a Customer

  • When a user submits a certify request an automated email notification is now sent to ALL administrators that have access to the SFIA Credentials and Reports page.

  • When an administrator is assigned as the Assessor another email notification will be sent ONLY to the assigned Assessor.

  • Both Emails include the link to the SkillsTX instance (Workspace) involved.

  • These email templates for these are NOT available for editing.

Examples:


Profile Approval notifications tightened up

  • 🛠️ This was raised as an issue

  • Previously notifications to Team Leaders and Line Managers when there has been an approval request, was not always been sent to the correct person.

  • This has been resolved, and the approval Request button now not available if no one assigned for approvals.


Candidates now been set correctly after sign-up registration

  • 🛠️ This was raised as an issue

  • Previously when a person used the sign-up registration form, they were not being correctly classified as Candidates.

  • This has been resolved.


Attributes marked as Hidden, no longer appear for selection

  • 🛠️ This was raised as an issue

  • Previously skill Attributes with Is Hidden set to Yes, were still able to be selected from Users Planner.

  • This has been resolved.


Various redundant fields removed

  • 🛠️ Part of the maintenance schedule

  • The legacy Is Analytics User fields has been removed from the User Info and Upload Template.

    • Analytics availability is now a configured Admin function.

  • Endorser selection removed from the Relationships upload template.

    • Endorsement access is now a configured Admin function.

Both of these features are available from the Skills Profile Planner tab

To Create a new version of your Skill profile from scratch:

  1. Use the new Create New Version button:

  2. It will open a blank Skill profile in edit mode, showing the full SFIA Framework

  3. You can then Edit the individual Generic Attributes and Professional skills to form a suitable Skill Profile that represents you competencies

  4. There are some rules to ensure your Profile follows some basic best practice guidelines:

    1. You must select a Level Of Responsibility (LoR) for each of the 5 Generic Attributes

    2. You must select at least 1 Professional skill

To return to a previous (older) version of your Skill Profile, and make it the current version

  1. Select the version of your Skill Profile you wish to return back to e.g.:

  2. A new button Make Latest will now appear (It only appears if you select a version prior to the current version):

  3. Select the Make Latest button

  4. You now have the option to Confirm you wish to continue by selecting OK

    1. This will make a copy of that version to a version number = Current Latest + 1

    2. And that will now be your current version

  5. Or you can Cancel if you do NOT wish to proceed
