7.1 Assign Endorser Roles
This task to assign Endorser Roles is required if validation are being carried out using Surveys only. Not necessarily required if Endorsements are being carried out using Workbooks only.
However Endorsers assigned using this task could have a bearing when Endorsements are switched to using Workbooks and you may have a need to Remove an Endorser role.

Being Assessed | Use this table to select the person who is to be assessed. Will show which of the roles have been assigned and how many of the assessor type is available or Max Allocated if it has met the limit |
Available Persons | Use this table to select the person that is to be assigned as an Assessor |
Assigned Persons | Shows the people that have been assigned to the 3 different various assessor roles

Select the person to be assessed from the Being Assessed table
Select the Assessor from the Available Persons table
Assign the person to the required role by selecting the appropriate button Note: The number in brackets indicates the max number that can be assigned to that role:
Assign Line Manager (1) →
LoR style assessment
Survey only
Assign Colleague (1) →
LoR style assessment
Survey only
Assign SFIA Assessor (1) →
Full Assessment - LoR & Skills
Workbooks (Most common method)
Survey method also available
Repeat steps 2 & 3 if intending to assign more than 1 Assessor type
The Line Manager and Colleague style Endorsement (LoR only) are uncommon, and used infrequently. The SFIA Assessor is often conducted by an accredited SFIA Assessor, but usually requires someone with a good knowledge of SFIA.
Remove Endorser Roles Step-by-step guide
Select the person to be assessed from the Being Assessed table
Select the Assessor from the Assigned Persons table
e.g.
Note: You may need to expand the lists to see the assigned assessor
Press the ←Remove button to remove them and return them to the Available Persons table
Repeat steps 2 & 3 if intending to remove more than 1 Assessor type
You cannot Remove an Assessor if they have completed the surveys or downloaded the Workbook
To overcome this you will first need to reset their surveys via a Track Survey Progress task
