Assign Requirements

Used to assign Requirements to people. Such as Current & Future jobs etc

Table sort-able on all columns (except Action column)

For any individual, a specific Requirement can ONLY be assigned to ONE of Current, Future or Proposed. (e.g. You cannot assign the same Requirement to both Current AND Proposed)

Display Persons Information

  1. Use the (info) button in the Action Column e.g.

  2. You can use the Show more fields link to expand the information showed

  3. Use Close to close the information pop-up

Update any of the Current, Future or Proposed Requirement selections in-situ

A Requirement can ONLY be assigned to ONE of Current, Future or Proposed. (e.g. You cannot assign the same Requirement to both Current AND Proposed). Therefore if you wish to assign a Requirement to one of Current, Future or Proposed, that is already assigned to one of them, you will 1st need to Un-assign or change the assignment from the one it is currently assigned to. (Note: to Un-assign set it = None)

  1. Select the link of the one you wish to change e.g.

    1. To abandon the change use the Red abandon button

  2. To update the selection choose a Requirement from the drop-down list. (The Tick button will change to Blue after a new selection)

  3. Use the Tick button to save the change

The relevant % Match field will change accordingly based on the new selection


Export

You can export all the current assignments to an Excel worksheet format, suitable for making off-line changes and then re-importing

  1. Select the Export button

    1. The file will be downloaded to a folder based on your browser configuration

  2. You can then edit the file in preparation for Importing


Import

You are able to use Import to:

  • Download an Excel Template suitable for Importing (if required)

  • To Import a previously prepared Excel based Upload file (e.g. A previously Exported file or edited template file)

Download an Upload Template

  1. Select the Import button

  2. Select the Download Bulk Template button

    1. The file will be downloaded to a folder based on your browser configuration

  3. You can now populate the Template based on the Assignment requirements

Import a Prepared Upload file

The Upload file could either be from a template you have populated, or an Export file you have updated

  1. Select the Import button

  2. Select the Upload option you wish to do use

    1. Update Only - will update any current assignments and insert any new ones. (The Persons Email address is used as the key)

    2. Update and Remove - will remove all current assignments, and re-assign based on the Upload file

  3. Use Select Files to start the dialogue to select the Upload file you wish to Import e.g.

  4. Once you have selected a file and Files to upload is populated use Perform Upload to carry out the Import

    1. The page will refresh to show the new assignment situation


Upload Template fields reference

Each row represents a a persons Requirement assignment for a person

The Type of assignment, one of the 3 values per row

i.e. If a person has a Requirement for each, it will entail that person being represented in the template with a row for each of the assignments etc.
