Sample Requirements

A set of predefined sample SFIA based Requirements are provided. These can be used as a basis for your own Requirements which are of a similar nature. Most are provided by industry and government bodies. (Note: they are NOT provided by the SFIA Foundation themselves). They can be copied and then edited to suit your specific organizational requirements.

Copy Sample Requirements

  1. Select the Sample Requirements button e.g.

  2. Use the Search functionality to filter to a set of Requirements that best suit you

  3. Select the Requirements you wish to copy from the list e.g.

  4. Press the Copy Requirements button to carry out the copy

  5. Use the Search button to find your copied Requirements from the list (if needed) e.g.

    1. The copied file will have a name format that indicates it has been copied, and includes a unique key to ensure the name is unique. e.g. in the above example the copied sample’s name is suffixed by “Copy kkOMV

  6. Edit the Meta Data for the copied sample to prescribe to your own organizational standards.

    1. Use the (info) link to edit the Meta Data e.g.

    2. Change the Name and Unique reference to suit. (You could use the provided key as part of the Unique reference)

    3. Change any other of the meta data fields as required.

  7. Save the changed Meta Data using the Save button

  8. You will more than likely now want to make changes to the other Requirement fields (skills etc) using Edit and continue to manage it as per your organizational standards.
