In special circumstances where a person has not completed (or not fully completed) a Self-Assessment, it is possible to set-up an Endorsed Profile only for them, to which they will then be able to access via their Planner. However this functionality is not standard or configurable via the Admin interface. You will need to 1st request for the functionality to be enabled for you. You can request this via the Service Desk interface, with the “Request Endorsement Only functionality” Service Request.
The Template has differences to the standard Workbook in that it is blank. It does not have a self-assessed Profile, and you need to update it with the Email address of the Individual and the Assessor, (whose details must exist), and their Profile data. (See steps below for Special Imports) |
Import Workbooks (Standard) Step-by-step guide
Select the Assessor you wish to Import (Upload) the Workbooks for:
Notes:
If an Assessor has already been assigned via Assign Endorser/Validation Roles the person selected MUST match that person who will be documented in the Workbook
If an Assessor was not previously assigned, the Workbook will be automatically assigned to the Assessor selected below
The Assessors details are included in the Endorsed/Validated Profile reports/certificates
Select the Assessor from the drop-down list:
e.g.
A Select Files button will appear once an Assessor has been selected
Press the Select Files button and use the dialogue to select all the Workbooks you wish to import for the assigned Assessor
Note: You can import more than 1 Workbook provided they are all for the same Assessor.
Proceed with the Import

For Workbooks to be Imported and Approved successfully:
Knowledge Item:See the following to address points 4 & 5 above : Generating a new Endorsed Profile |
Import Workbooks (Special) Step-by-step guide
The Individual AND the Assessor MUST have been created in the relevant workspace via the Load/Edit Individuals Details
Download a copy of the Endorsed Profile Template using the Download Template button
Have the Assessor complete the Endorsed profile template for the individual
Notes:
We recommend you use a naming convention of the workbooks.
The Workbooks do contain and instructions page and fields are validated.
ALL green cells must have been completed together with the relevant list of Skills.
They MUST include the email of the Individual and Assessor on the Profile sheet.
They must set the Status to Approved.
You can now Import the workbook as per the instructions for the Standard above, ensuring the Assessor selected is the same as the one documented in the Workbook
Once the Workbook is uploaded they can be accessed and downloaded from the Import Queue for audit purposes (you can include comments)
If you have (and we usually recommend you do) the Auto reporting setup for Endorsed reports it will be generated and sent to the individual. If not you’ll need to generate and send manually
The person can create a (Planner) User by going to the Planner Login and selecting reset password if they are not using Sign-in with Microsoft etc. You could include this information in the email that sends the report.
Once they have logged in they will see their Endorsed Profile and an empty SelfAssessed Profile. They can use the Copy Endorsed button on the SelfAssessed Profile to clone the Endorsed Profile as their SelfAssessed so they can then edit and maintain.
