Advice

  • There can only be a single instance of a Leader/Employee or Employee/Leader relationship specified. e.g.

    • From a Leadership Focus, a Leader cannot be more that 1 Leader Type for the SAME Employee.

    • From an Employee Focus, an Employee cannot have the SAME Leader for more than 1 Leader Type

This also applies for an Endorser Type relationship. Currently a leader cannot be both either a Line Manager or Team Leader AND an Endorser.

      • Note1: The rationale is that Endorsers are generally (from a Best Practice perspective) expected to be independent SFIA Consultants and not have any biases that could influence their Endorsement of a persons Skill Profile. Endorsements by Leaders could also diminish the leader/Employee relationship, and reduce the Employee Experience

      • Note2Note: Team Leaders and Line Managers DO however have the ability to Approve the Skill Profiles of Employees assigned to them

  • For that reason, once a leader/Employee or Employee/Leader relationship has been established, you will not be offered the same employee or Leader again from the Select from list when the same Employee Name or Leadership Name has been selected and is in focus.

Note3: However, it is possible to have the roles reversed. e.g. A Team member (Employee) could be configured as the Endorser for their own Team Leader
