Consultant on this level can easily define key differences between OLAP and OLTP systems and can clearly articulate the purpose each of them. Familiar with basics of OLAP modelling techniques and confident with OLTP modeling techniques.

Consultant on this level has foundational knowledge of system development life cycle, familiar with a very wide range of established and emerging data technologies (data management, reporting, data visualization, predictive analytics, etc). While not necessarily deep in all of listed areas, knows enough to guide the organization in understanding and adopting them. Identifies and evaluates alternative architectures and the trade-offs in cost, performance and scalability. Determines and documents architecturally significant decisions.
Produces specifications of cloud-based or on-premises components, tiers and interfaces, for translation into detailed designs using selected services and products.
Supports projects or change initiatives through the preparation of technical plans and application of design principles. Aligns solutions with enterprise and solution architecture standards (including security). Always keeps a "big picture" view in mind and able to negotiate solution decisions with stakeholders.
Comfortable working independently or a part of the team.

Consultant on this level is able to lead data architecture development from a perspective of certain functional, business and organizational areas. Can lead preparation of technical plans and ensure that appropriate technical resources are made available. Provides technical guidance and governance on solution development and integration. Evaluates requests for changes and deviations from specifications and recommends actions. Ensures that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) are applied correctly.
Comfortable working independently or leading the team.

D.Architecture - Lvl 6

Consultant on this level acts from perspective of entire organization, sets up data management, governance, security and data policies and standards, analyzes current state and defines desired future state. Provides guidance to various teams on data architecture design and implementation. Able to negotiate and influence on enterprise-wide data architectural decisions.
Coordinates and manages the target architecture across multiple projects or initiatives. Maintains a stable, viable architecture and ensures consistency of design and adherence to appropriate standards across multiple projects or initiatives.
Comfortable working independently or leading large internal or external team.
