Individuals Planner does not have a Profile or not reflecting changes made

Problem

The information in an individuals Planner Console does not reflect recent changes made. The following scenarios may be relevant:

  • After completing their self-assessment surveys, if an individual immediately gains access to their Planner console, (e.g. prior to having received their self-assessment report), they may find their Profile is not yet present and may instead get messages:

  • A workspace administrator may have changed or allocated a Current or Future job via the Admin Console. (Job assignment). However the Individuals Planner console is not yet reflecting that change.

  • After the completion of an Endorsement, the individuals Planner shows a similar message as above for the Endorsed Profile.

In most cases these issues are related to timing. It takes a little while after completing surveys or workbook uploads for the system to build their self-assessment or Endorsed Profiles. Changes made for example to job assignments in the Admin console can take up to an hour to be reflected Individuals Planner consoles due to local browser caching.

Solution

  1. Ask the individual to wait for 15mins

  2. Then ask them to use the Refresh button

    at the top of the Planner Console. This will cause a forced cache refresh

  3. Repeat 1 & 2 the above if not successful initially

  4. If after 1 hour their appears to be no change, then consider raising an Incident as this may indicate a different issue
