4.3 Reviewing your Skill gaps

  1. Choose the Profile Type you wish to view you skill gaps for. (Note you may only have 1 option if Endorsements are not being utilised)

  2. Choose the Requirement Type (Job selection) you wish to view the skill gaps against

  3. You can choose to show only the relevant skill gaps or you can review your gaps against the full SFIA framework by using the Show All button

    1. However this would not normally be used for your initial situation

  4. This will show a list of your skill gaps for the selections you have chosen, which you now choose to take actions on

Skill Gaps information

  • The skill gaps are grouped by the Framework Categories, and Generic Attributes if there are any

  • You can use the View Description links to show the skill descriptions of the skill/level for that gap. The description will appear in a pop-up window e.g.

  • You can use hover-over for explanations of the Gaps & Requirement coloured dots e.g.

  •  

  •  

  • The Add Action button colour depends on whether or not you already have an action for that gap
