Problem

Server Error in '/' Application. No user found that has the name "xxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com".

The xxxxxxxxxx will be a Gmail account ID (Email address).

This will be accompanied with a page of Exception errors.

Caused when a person is trying to access a SkillsTx console such as their Planner, (or a password Reset), in a browser that is already logged into a Google account with a different email address to their one registered for SkillsTx. The browser is attempting to access the Planner using the Gmail ID.

This is a Known Issue which presented with the advent of Google Single-sign-on functionality. A quick workaround is below.

Solution

Describe how someone would solve the problem in a short, step-by-step guide:

  1. Use an Incognito or Private browser window to access SkillsTx.

  2. or an alternative Browser application to the one being used for the Google account.
