5.3 Edit / Delete Evidence

Editing or Deleting Evidence

You are able to make changes to the the (standard) Evidence information or Delete the Evidence entry of evidence in your list:

  1. Click on the Edit button of the Evidence instance you wish to Change/Delete

  2. This will open an Edit Evidence pop-up form showing all the information e.g.

  3. To make changes, you you can change any of the fields in the pop-up form in a similar way you would when adding new evidence. e.g.

    • Add extra Skills

    • Change the Expiry date

    • Add Notes

    • Replace an uploaded file with a later version etc

      • Note: If you use Choose File it will replace the file you held previously. (Only 1 file can be uploaded per Evidence instance. If you wish to provide extra files you will need an additional evidence instance for the same skills)

  4. To save your changes use the Save Button

  5. Use the Close button if you no not wish to save the changes

  6. Use the Delete button if you wish to remove the Evidence instance entirely from your Evidence list

    And you will be asked to confirm the delete via a pop-up - Use OK to delete or Cancel to retain

Notes:

  • An Evidence instance is designed to only hold a single uploaded file or link per evidence instance. If you wish to provide additional evidence for the same set of attributes/skills you will need to add additional instances.

  • This is one reason why it is important that you label your Evidence instance with a name that allows you to uniquely identify it in your list of evidence.
