To generate a new version of an Endorsed Profile for someone.

Info

Note (Legacy Platform only)

The following describes a process of carrying out a reset of the survey data for a previously uploaded Workbook or completed Endorsement survey. Surveys themselves are transitional. Once completed (which includes a Workbook Upload), the Endorsed Profile is established from them, and they become dormant until required again. Resetting a survey does NOT destroy or overwrite previously established Endorsed Profiles. The Warning prompts following a reset, are targeted for cases of partially completed surveys and to ensure reset was not pressed in error.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Reset the persons previous Endorsed survey data by using any of the Survey Tracking Tasks. e.g. Skills we have (self-assessment)/Track Survey Progress

  2. Search for the person you want to reset: e.g.

    Image Modified
  3. Choose the SFIA Assessor Role Survey for that person. It has 11/11 Questions and should be 100% complete.

  4. Press the reset button for that survey

  5. You will need to acknowledge some prompts that ensure you wanted to do that. This will reset that survey to 0%

  6. Depending on the method of the Endorsement:

    1. If a SFIA Assessor was originally assigned, and the same person is going to re-endorse:

      1. Then resend a Survey invitation to the original SFIA Assessor to re-complete the survey  or

      2. Download a new Workbook and send to them to complete the endorsement

    2. Caution: If a new Assessor is to be used, you will need to remove the original SFIA assessor assignment under Assign Endorser Roles, and either assign a new assessor (and send the survey email if required), OR optionally leave blank if a workbook is to be used.

      1. Note: If the original Assessor has been made Inactive, you will need to re-activate them (in Load/Edit individuals Details) in order for them to show up as being assigned. Only then will you be able to see and remove them.

    3. If using Workbooks, use the Import Workbooks Task to re-import the new Validated Workbook for that person which will replace the original.

e.g.

The top entry above shows a success after resetting the survey, the 2nd one shows the failure if you try and re-import without resetting the survey
