Manage Extra Framework

This page will only be visible to organisations organizations that have a prior arrangement with SkillsTX to include additional frameworks (e.g. such as a Leadership framework) that will then be available to their users (employees) for selection in their Planner, as well as selection for Requirements. (Jobs).

This task is used to upload and maintain additional frameworks:

The layout and format of additional frameworks needs to be quite specific in order for the SkillsTX platform to accommodate it. An Excel workbook template is able to be downloaded as part of the Import Process.


Downloading the Import Template

  1. Select Import

Template Description

Each row of the template describes a skill at a particular level. While there appears to be duplication in the rows, that is because the skill will cover a number of levels, and therefore they have some common aspects. However for the last column SkillLevelDescription , the rows should all be

provided by SkillsTX along with guidance on how to populate the workbook for importing into the system

    The name you wish to give to the levels.

    In Framework shown in the example, they have elected to call them Level 1, Level 2 ……

    You are not required to use all 7 levels provided in the template. Leaving the name to NULL indicates that you do not wish to use those levels

    What you wish to name the Capability for selection.

    However you may wish to use something similar to our provision for SFIA which has 4 Capabilities e.g.

    • Proficiency

    • Competency

    Leave to NULL the Capabilities you do not require

    A weighting fact that is able to be applied in determining % Match and other analytical calculations for the selected Capability.
